Power of the People by DancingCavy Power of the People by DancingCavy
Okay, here it is. So glad I was able to finish it today. My schedule has been packed lately and I knew if I didn't get it done today I would be bustin' my ass during the week trying to meet the deadline.

This is an old idea that I came up with shortly after beating "Okami" the first time. I really liked the end when Amaterasu's power returns after Issun rallies the people. I thought that would make a really nice drawing. I don't think I really pulled it off. Not thrilled with how it came out. But it'll do. I definately don't have time to do anything else!!

This is 95% traditional (Prismacolor pencils and Micron pens). Unfortunately, I didn't feel comfortable trying to shade/darken the background. I was afraid I'd ruin it as dark color on top of white colored pencil doesn't always work out. So I chose to do that digitally. I tweaked a few other minor things too. You can see the original here: [link]

I was a bit unsure as to how I was going to pull it off when I started so I made a few errors. I did make Amaterasu's images flat (cell-shaded) since they're drawings. I tried to use more natural shading on Issun and the background.

Issun, Shiranui, Amaterasu and all related images are (c) Capcom
